Hobi ~ Habari Cat

Hobe is the most gorgeous and BIG kitten we have ever been owned by! We are always forgetting how old he is because he is approximately 5 lbs at only 4 months old. We are always laughing at him as he tries to keep up with the rest of the gang because he is still a bit clumsy. He has many buddies --- a Geoffroy male, f-3 savannah female, f-4 savannah female, f-5 savannah male and soon an f-1 savannah female. There are also 2 Bengals and 2 domestics that are only pets like him. They all romp and play and he is just the cutest clown with them all. He will race around the house with everyone but when they jump up on things he tries and goes rolling and tumbling with his large body, LOL. Boy he sure has the determination, but just not the ability quite yet with his size. He is everyone's buddy and will soon pass them all up in size.

Hobe has joined our family and is so loved, thank you Dale and Holly for this beautiful, big-eared part of our family. From the start I had him sleep in the bed with us and this is something we just love and cherish. He has taken up the spot right by my side all night long. My daughter has started coming over some evenings to play with all the kittens for a couple hours and I think Hobe has recognized this regular visit now and looks forward to her arriving. I think he somehow mysteriously knows she is about to arrive because a few minutes before she arrives he waits by the door. She made a fun toy for them all to play in out of a large box. They run in and out of holes she cut in it for entrances and exits and little holes that hold toys in them too, but I think she forgot he was a bit large in the belly and so a few openings are a bit tight for him. It is so funny watching him try to fit in those holes. He hasn't quite grasped the idea he only fits in the larger ones yet, what a fun sight to watch when they all are playing.

Also one night Hobe was in the bathroom with me while I was having a bath with bubbles and for some reason he decided to just hop right in. Well most the other cats just watch, but not Hobe, so he learned real fast what water was and had to sleep all cuddled up under my covers all night to dry out well. Hobe has the most beautiful large spots and big ears. His fur is the softest coat I have ever felt; it feels like a satin rabbits fur. We are so in love and happy with this unique cat and can't wait to see how big he will get! We have now 3 kittens we have gotten from Dale and Holly at Select Exotics and I would absolutely recommend if anyone is looking to purchase a hybrid kitten getting it from them. I have had many questions and needed advice already in my program and Dale has been so helpful and willing to spend time talking to me to help with anything I need. This is so important in the progression of raising loving and healthy cats. Debi
